*Replace plastic venting with National Fire Prevention Association approved venting.
*To avoid costly damage and reduce your risk of a dryer fire you should have the venting cleaned every 6 to 12 months. (Based on your usage)
*Regular cleaning will help remove dangerous lint and debris build up.
*Inspect the outside exhaust and make sure there is good air flow when the dryer is turned on.
